Excessive Sweating

Hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating) is a common condition affecting at least 1 to 3% of the population. Hyperhidrosis can occur without a known cause (primary) or due to an underlying medical condition (secondary). It can also be localised to certain areas (such as the palms, soles or underarms) or widespread, affecting the whole body.

Whether it is a localised or widespread problem, at Urban Medi Spa & Clinic, we have an expert doctor who can help you with your hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating).

At the consultation, our doctor will work to identify whether this is a localised problem or generalised hyperhidrosis. From your medical history, we will work out if additional investigations are required.

In terms of treatment, we offer both prescribed medications for generalised hyperhidrosis, and hyperhidrosis injections for localised hyperhidrosis to help control your excessive sweating. The pros and cons of these treatments will be discussed in depth at your consultation.
